The age of shock collar for your dog is now over, you have to admit on the fact that it is not humane enough, your dog would be so confused and some even sensitive enough to feel pain. The metal probe has to be in contact with dog's skin but NOT hair, in order for it to work properly! Sensitivity level decreases with low battery level! Dogs tend to get confused and could bark even more when first introducing this collar, but if your dog start behaving anxiously and in fear, please take the collar off immediately!
